With 5 studio albums under his belt, ACYLUM can proudly contemplate his legacy to the dark elektro genre. Throughout the years, ACYLUM has become an unavoidable reference in the scene, often described as a devastating sonic machine geniusly blending harsh powerful assaults with suffocating oppressive bombastic orchestral arrangements. A band also known for its confronting provocations, making no artistic compromise, a band that we either love or hate – nothing in between!

While Pedro Engel locked himself up in his bunker to start working on his follow-up ACYLUM album he decided to offer his hardcore fanbase a collection of rare and previously unreleased tracks, remixes, collaborations and other early demos.

The aptly titled “Filthy Memories” brings you 16 tracks that will please all strong followers of ACYLUM. Of course when we talk about early demos, we should not expect the top notch production skills that ACYLUM has reached today, but it’s more like a way to see where ACYLUM comes from. It’s exciting to see that the rough darkness and the pounding power noise were already in there since the early recordings with that characteristic mixture of melancholic atmospheres with harsh elektro industrial!

This collection of songs also reminds us that Kai Arnold (WYNARDTAGE) used to be the first singer of the band and also discover some interesting collaborations that Pedro Engel made together with other artists like NANO INFECT, ALIEN PRODUKT or yet HYDRA DIVISION V.

16 “Filthy Memories” dedicated to the evergrowing and very faithful fanbase of the ACYLUM gang offering an interesting 'back-to the roots' sonic journey before the next ACYLUM assault…
